The english writer Jennifer Shryane has written about Einstürzende Neubauten's place in popular/experimental music history. She illustrates their innovations with found- and self-constructed instrumentation, their Artaudian performance strategies and textual concerns, as well as their methods of independence.

Thu, 09/08/2011 - 10:46wir freuen uns euch mitteilen zu können, dass Einstürzende Neubauten zusammen mit den legendären Wire und Caspar Brötzmann am 15.09.2011 im Trafo, Berlin für die Sendung Berlin Live des ZDF Kulturkanals ein Kurzkonzert geben werden.
Und ihr könnt dabei sein. Bitte akkreditiert euch unter folgendem link für einen exklusiven Platz auf der Gästeliste.
Die Plätze sind streng limitiert und werden nach Eingang vergeben.
Einstürzende Neubauten will be performing at a special mini festival with Wire and Caspar Brötzmann on 15 Sept 2011 in Trafo, Berlin (Tresor) for the German TV station ZDF the concert will be recorded and transmitted on 03 Dec 2011 on ZDFkultur.

Alexander Hacke has released a sound-set for Urs Heckmanns virtual synthesizer - software Zebra which is called "New York City" and consists of 150 sounds dedicated to the big apple and divided in the five boroughs.
The sounds range from weird one shot effects to slow evolving cinematic soundscapes and complete multi layered backing tracks.
The sound set is a 100% copyright free collection of individually programmed artistic patches which can used for film-scores, industrial music, electro dance beats and general experimentation.
They provide an ideal starting point to dive into the complex world of Zebra.
Caution, you must own the software synthesizer in order to work with the sound set.
